Can "JanLokpal" really curb corruption?

These days people are very interested about Corruption limiting movement and supporting the so called HEROES....but is the Lokpal bill so strong?
I wanna write about this since many people who are supporting heroes don't know what's actually Lokpal. They simply say it vanishes the corruption but i think it enhances the corruption if not utilized properly.
According to their demand, everyone from PM to Clerk should come under Lokpal and it has authority of investigation, surveillance and punishment.Doesn't it seem like  person(s) ruling all the country.
We're even not trusting on Prime Minester and CJI, how can we believe Lokpal?
Let us take example of Lokayukta in Karnataka. Before Santosh Hegde, nobody knows about Lokayukta. What happen Lokayuktas in remaining all states?
If unfortunately, the head of Lokpal institution will be corrupted, what would  happen? It leads us into oligarchy.
Above all, head of Lokpal is appointed by Govt. what use?
I strongly believe that corruption can be limited only if citizens stop giving bribes and start asking questions
